Homemade Play Dough Recipe No Cook


Homemade playdough always much more economical compared than to buy the little commercial tubs. Below here a simple homemade play dough recipe no cookThis recipe uses the same ingredients as regular home made dough but is much simpler and easier to make.

Homemade Play Dough Recipe No Cook

Ingredients
2 C plain, all purpose flour
4 tbs cream of tartar (tartaric acid)
2 tbs cooking oil
1 C salt
few drops food colouring (we used green)
2 C boiling water

Steps:
1. Place all ingredients apart from boiling water into a large bowl.
2. Pour over boiling water and stir mixture with a large spoon until combined and the dough has begun to cool down.


3. Sprinkle your benchtop with a little flour. Lift warm dough out of the bowl and knead over the flour until it looks like play dough. This is my favourite part; the dough just feels wonderful. Mmmmm.

Warning
The  homemade play dough recipe no cook  may still be too warm for toddlers to help at this stage.

4. Give your little ones a few cutters and a rolling pin and let them get to it.
5. Store playdough in an airtight container.

I have enjoyed creating crafts with my own children and the children I watch, it's great seeing their joy while making a project and pride at the finished project. In this Lens I will talk about some simple things you can do with your toddler. I will also discuss helpful items to keep handy for project days and some good resources I have used for ideas.

This could be the best creation of all time! Home made play dough is so much fun!! 

The kids can help you make it and then get to play with it! They love being able to create their own colors and then play with their creation!!

This recipe is really simple to make and has ingredients you would probably normally have handy in your house.

Ingredients:
1 Cup Flour
1/2 Cup Salt
1 Cup Water
2 Teaspoons Cream of Tartar
1 Tablespoon Mazola Oil
Add Food Coloring 1 Drop of what ever color you would like, or mix the colors to create a special color!

Warm all ingredients in a pot on the stove on low, Stir until it gels and then you have your playdough!!

This can be used for months if kept in a sealed tupperware.
